Amanda Tylee
Amanda started in the telecom industry in 2016, after a long history of work in healthcare as a Financial Counselor. With a strong background in benefits, education, training, coaching and mentoring, strategic planning, and time management, Amanda narrowed her focus to Human Resources, and she soon earned certification in Strategic Human Resource Management. Amanda is currently working on a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Human Resource Management at Mount Mercy University.
Amanda has been a crucial part of managing CellSite’s growth from 15 employees to hundreds. The HRIS systems she has built out handle recruiting, onboarding, performance management, compensation, and learning management. Amanda also manages the organization’s vigorous training and safety programs, which keeps CellSite’s team the most qualified in the business.
Amanda strengthens the CellSite community with the Make It Happen committee—a diverse group of employees who plan events for volunteer opportunities, employee culture and just plain fun. It’s at the core of the company’s sense of values, connecting people across disciplines to create a work family.
In her free time, Amanda is happiest outdoors, whether camping, hiking, kayaking, or sitting around a fire with family and friends. Amanda has dug deep into her family genealogy, inspiring her to travel to cemeteries, collect data, and restore old headstones. She has had the pleasure of building family trees and identifying biological family members for adopted individuals seeking more information—just another way she connects people to build a better world.
