Co-Mo Connect, a subsidiary of Co-Mo Electric Cooperative, is building a 4,000 mile FTTH gigabit network in Rural Missouri. Co-Mo needed a secure location to put equipment at each of the 16 substations in its service territory to house network equipment. When you are building fiber to the home in sparsely populated rural areas, every dollar counts. Cellsite Solutions was able to save Co-Mo hundreds of thousands of dollars by providing pre-owned concrete telecommunication shelters. These quality shelters allowed Co-Mo's technicians and splicers to work out of the elements in a secure environment for not much more cost than outdoor cabinets. Cellsite Solutions not only procured and delivered the buildings, they arranged for all civil work and crane offload on site, relieving resources at Co-Mo to focus on their fiber deployment.
